Overview
We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, modest, and professional in demeanor, with excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys learning, and is committed to continuous improvement in both clinical skills and patient care.
You’ll be working in a supportive environment that values teamwork, respect, and integrity, where every team member plays an important role serving our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients with warmth, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with pediatric and adult patient visits.
- Take and record vital signs, perform basic laboratory tests, and collect specimens as ordered.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation in the EMR.
- Support patient education and assist with care coordination under provider direction.
- Help manage supplies, restock rooms, and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the office.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with patients, families, and team members.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute ideas for improving workflows and patient experience.
- Demonstrate reliability, respect, and humility in all interactions, modeling professionalism and modesty in both behavior and appearance.
Qualifications
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (preferred, but we will consider the right candidate with relevant experience).
- At least one year of clinical or patient-facing experience preferred. We would consider training a motivated candidate with more limited experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, upbeat personality with a passion for helping others.
- Willingness to learn integrative and natural approaches to healthcare.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Committed to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional integrity.

Hours
We are flexible and willing to work with the right candidate to find a schedule that fits. Part-time or full-time hours are available.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Base Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
