Duties
- Welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere that encourages participation and enjoyment
- Organize and oversee event activities, games, and entertainment to ensure smooth flow and high energy levels
- Manage guest interactions, resolving conflicts promptly with positive conflict management techniques
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including emergency procedures and first aid readiness
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems for ticketing or merchandise sales during events
- Assist with setup and cleanup of event spaces, including manual handling of equipment and decorations
- Coordinate with vendors or external entertainers to enhance event experiences and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Skills
- Proven experience in events management or hospitality environments with a focus on guest engagement
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively
- Certified in first aid and CPR to respond confidently in emergencies
- Experience working at event venues or outdoor settings with knowledge of safety protocols
- Background working with children or in retail sales environments that require excellent customer service skills
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting of equipment or supplies
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing POS systems
- Excellent public speaking abilities to engage guests and facilitate activities confidently
- Previous experience in food service, resort operations, theater production or lifeguard roles is highly desirable for versatile event hosting
