Summit Truck Bodies is looking for a Robotic Programmer to monitor robots throughout the paint process and ensure quality and function.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Resolve repetitive quality defects through investigation and corrective action.

Conduct software updates and calibrations.

Ability to start machine, engage feed, transfer or spray applications, and observe operation.

Inspects and measures product to verify conformance to specifications.
-
Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine.
-
Program robot pathways and application controls.
-
Perform routine preventative maintenance on robots.
-
Provide immediate corrective action to robot faults.
-
Engages equipment and observes spray applications.
-
Demonstrates responsibility for safety, quality and production.
-
Maintain all required records.
-
Follow all safety procedures.
-
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Frequent mobility and / or sitting, standing, bending or stooping for prolonged / extended periods.

Requires lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.

Requires stretching to reach items up to 50 pounds.

Requires working in areas which are not ventilated or air-conditioned.

Requires eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate machinery.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
-
High School diploma or equivalent.
-
Valid driver's license with good standing MVR.
-
1 year of experience in robotic painting or related role preferred.
-
Certified for all robotic painting operations, methods, and processes preferred.

Excellent creativity, problem solving, and analytical skills.
-
Ability to utilize a computer with basic software skills.
-
Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
