Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Accounting & HR Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in assisting with financial operations and HR related activities, ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our accounting processes and human resource deployment/management.
You will collaborate with various teams to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the optimization of our human resource administration and maintain our financial integrity while supporting strategic initiatives that drive our organization forward.
This position requires a high-level of confidentiality, professionalism and reliability.
What you’ll do
- Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Reconcile credit card statements; enter corresponding journal entries to accurately record transactions.
- Create and maintain machine order entry in company ERP.
- Assist with month end processes; project closeouts, margin reviews, bank reconciliations, etc.
- Assist with year-end processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with employment and labor laws and OSHA safety standards.
- Manage payroll processing and benefits administration, utilizing systems such as Global Shop Solutions and AllianceHCM.
- Assist in talent acquisition efforts by coordinating creating employment ads, performing initial screenings, and conducting phone interviews.
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing inquiries related to performance management and conflict resolution.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum education: Associate's Degree in accounting or equivalent experience. A strong understanding of accounting standards and practices is required.
- Experience in payroll processing.
- Experience in benefit administration.
Preferred qualifications
- Cost accounting experience in manufacturing setting.
- Experience using ERP systems.
