Radiologic Technologist | Chowchilla, CA (Correctional facility)
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (RADT) to join our team in a Correctional Facility located in Chowchilla, California. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnostic imaging and a commitment to providing quality patient care in a secure healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT, PET, and DEXA scans.
- Ensure adherence to safety and aseptic protocols during all procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for diagnostic interpretation and patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Explain procedures clearly and ensure patient comfort.
- Stay current with advances in medical imaging technology.
Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT Certification or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiologic safety practices.
- Experience in hospital, emergency, or urgent care settings preferred.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-demand environments.
