Job Summary:
The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and common areas in a timely and thorough manner, ensuring a pleasant and sanitary environment for all hotel guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing amenities.
- Ensure all rooms meet established cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, and other public areas as assigned.
- Follow all hotel policies and safety procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet productivity and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members and guests.
