We are a locally owned cabinetry company dedicated to delivering high-quality kitchen solutions since 2014. We are known and recognized for our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Kitchen Designer to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Kitchen Designer will work closely with clients to create functional, beautiful kitchen spaces tailored to their needs. This role requires both creative design skills and technical expertise, as well as strong communication and project management abilities. The Kitchen Designer's workplace will be in our Showroom (with occasional jobsite visits).
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their design preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget
- Develop detailed kitchen layouts and design concepts
- Create renderings and technical drawings using Design Flex (formerly 2020) software
- Recommend cabinetry, materials, finishes, and other design elements
- Prepare project estimates and invoices in QuickBooks
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout the process
- Assist clients in-person or via emails, phone calls or text messages
- Update clients file according to our standard procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in kitchen design or related field
- Proficiency in Design Flex (formerly 2020) software
- Strong understanding of cabinetry construction, materials, and space planning
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a cabinetry showroom or design studio
- Knowledge of current kitchen design trends and products
- Sales experience is a plus
