POSITION SUMMARY:
We are currently recruiting a Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW). This full-time position pays $32.60 an hour and is located in Larned, KS.
This role supports the Sexual Predator Treatment Program (SPTP), whose mission is to promote community safety while fostering the welfare and reintegration of program residents into a safe and stable environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Collect, evaluate, and document social history and assessment information.
- Gather information from multiple sources to complete psychosocial assessments using approved social work methods.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary Treatment Team to assess new admissions and monitor ongoing treatment progress.
- Complete detailed progress notes documenting treatment progress, resident response, and family involvement.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of individualized treatment plans.
- Communicate with attorneys and coordinate legal-related meetings.
- Schedule and facilitate family visits via virtual platforms such as Zoom.
- Conduct outreach and placement calls for individuals transitioning outside of the facility.
- Assist residents with obtaining identification documents, Social Security cards, and other essential resources.
- Coordinate meetings and maintain consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:
- Licensed Bachelor Level Social Worker (LBSW) or temporary license (LBSW-T), required at time of appointment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensure through the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
- Preferred: Two (2) years of experience providing mental health services.
- Preferred: Two (2) years of experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
Additional Requirements:
- CPI Certification within one month of employment and must be maintained (training provided).
- Some positions may require passing a drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Standard hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; however, some flexibility may be required.
