Prefer to hire a Licensed, Alabama Grade II Water Operator. *Licensed Water Operator will receive pay DOE.
Will hire a Field Worker/Laborer, with no experience, with the right attitude and work drive. Will work under the supervision of a Water Operator to accomplish a multitude of tasks required by the water district on a daily basis.
The tasks will be, but not limited to, the following: Install water pipe, make taps, dig ditches, read meters, fix leaks, respond to customer complaints, flush water lines, cut grass, clean well houses, clean work areas, paint piping, paint fire hydrants, paint buildings, wash vehicles, wash equipment, general building maintenance, and all other assigned duties.
Pre-employment drug screen is required.
90 days probation:
Full Benefits will begin after 90 days - Training and testing to become a Licensed Water Operator will also begin.
