Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Lawn Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering professional lawn care, pest control, and landscape maintenance services. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety will help ensure our customers receive top-tier service while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other lawn treatments following safety protocols and pesticide management guidelines
- Operate company vehicles safely across diverse outdoor environments
- Use hand tools, and equipment to perform landscape maintenance and pest control tasks effectively
- Follow integrated pest management strategies to identify pests accurately and implement appropriate control measures
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures including chemical handling, respiratory protection, ladder use, confined space entry safety procedures, and ladder safety procedures
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain services performed and address any questions or concerns
- Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, pest control activities, and service reports
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experienced in lawn care preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with pesticide application knowledge, pest control chemical handling, and integrated pest management practices is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles is required
- Knowledge of safety protocols including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection standards is essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to educate clients about lawn health and pest prevention strategies
- Must have a Pesticide License in the state of Massachusetts

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
