AZ Language Services is actively seeking qualified on-site medical interpreters to join our growing team in Columbus, Ohio.
We have ongoing medical interpretation assignments and are currently recruiting interpreters for the following languages:
- Spanish
- Portuguese
- Somali
- Haitian Creole
- Kinyarwanda
- ASL
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and professional on-site interpretation between patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Interpret medical terminology accurately and impartially.
- Arrive on time and maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and at least one of the listed languages.
- Professional interpreting experience (medical interpretation preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation for on-site assignments.
- Medical interpreter certification is preferred but not required.
