Overview
SHIP N DIP TRUCKING LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our growing transportation team. In this role, you will coordinate freight movements, communicate with drivers and brokers, monitor shipment progress, and help ensure on-time deliveries. Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily freight shipments and schedule pickups and deliveries
- Communicate with drivers, brokers, shippers, and customers to ensure timely transportation
- Monitor shipment status and provide real-time updates on deliveries
- Assign loads and optimize routes to maximize efficiency
- Prepare and maintain transportation documents, including bills of lading and delivery records
- Resolve shipment delays, service issues, and scheduling conflicts
- Track driver performance and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Maintain accurate records using transportation management software (TMS)
- Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and customer service teams to improve workflow
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; logistics or transportation experience preferred
- Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, or supply chain is an asset
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or logistics software
- Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Experience coordinating truckload (TL), less-than-truckload (LTL), or intermodal freight
- Bilingual skills are a plus

Pay: $23.45 - $26.20 per hour
