About the Job:
Delivers and instructs clients and caregivers on the use of their medical equipment. Performs monthly concentrator checks. Performs cleaning and maintenance of equipment. Performs required documentation.
Schedule: Generally, Monday through Friday, day shift, or evening shift. On call nights, weekends and holidays.
What You’ll Do:

Delivers and picks up HME, and Respiratory medical equipment and supplies.

Instructs patients and/or caregivers in the proper and safe use of their equipment and supplies.

Determines proper fit of medical equipment to client.

Communicates problems regarding patients’ failure to use equipment appropriately.

Identifies and corrects real or potential safety hazards related to equipment and reports to the service technician supervisor.

Transfills liquid 02 following policy and procedures.

Integrates problem-solving methodology and quality improvement in approaching problem areas related to patient deliveries, setups, and organizational processes

Ensures delivery van is maintained, inspected, and registered according to the Joint Commission and State of NH requirements.

Cleans and performs basic safety and operational checks on medical equipment following universal precautions.

In compliance with all pertinent local, state, federal law, and regulation as well as Joint Commission standards.

Documents appropriately regarding clinical records, time sheets, maintenance of equipment, instruction sheets, and delivery/pickup forms, logs, and manifests.

Ensures confidentiality of employee, legal, client/patient, budget, and all company matter.

Promotes client/patient dignity and provides a calm, supportive environment when making deliveries or picking up equipment at patients’ homes or interacting with patients.

Functions effectively as a member of a team.

Demonstrates commitment to customer service.

Positively reflects the agency within HME and the Elliot Health System.
Who You Are:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience, preferably in a related field. Medical experience preferred.

Experience doing deliveries and driving trucks preferred
-
Valid Driver's License required to travel throughout New Hampshire to provide home health services and other job-related activities.
