Used Car Mechanic – Reconditioning Center (Full-Time, Hourly)
We’re looking for a skilled Used Car Mechanic to join our Reconditioning Center team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys diagnosing, repairing, and preparing vehicles for retail in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Looking for 2 techs safety / oil change / brakes and also a more seasoned technician to help diagnose and perform more complex repairs. You do not need previous new car experience would encourage technicians from private facility or small mom and pop shops to apply
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for performing safety inspections, diagnosing issues, and completing the necessary repairs on our used vehicle inventory. This position works directly with our Used Car Manager and Recon Advisor, operating independently from the main service shop. Our reconditioning process is streamlined, giving you the ability to order parts online and keep vehicles moving quickly through the system.

Responsibilities:
- Perform safety inspections on used vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and efficiently
- Complete required repairs to prepare vehicles for sale
- Communicate with the Used Car Manager and Recon Advisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keep vehicles moving through the reconditioning process in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time well
- Positive attitude and teamwork mindset
- Valid driver’s license
