Job Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible to the licensed nurse, Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager and/or Nursing Supervisor. The Certified Nursing Assistant assists the licensed nurse in the direct care of patients, performs non-invasive procedure which do not require sterile technique, performs routine unit maintenance as assigned.
The Certified Nursing Assistant assists the licensed nurse in the direct care of patients, performs procedures with the scope of practice per OSBN.
- Evening and night shift differentials per GRH policy.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support card.
- Well-groomed and demonstrates appropriate, professional conduct.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Must have a high school diploma or a GED certificate.

Certified Nursing Assistant certification, as determined by the laws of the State of Oregon - REQUIRED

CNAII preferred but not required.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift 75 pounds maximum with frequent lifting/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to communicate therapeutically.

Possess the ability to provide care for the patients’ age-specific, cultural, physical and psychosocial well-being.
