Duties
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the scan.
- Operate MRI scanners to produce detailed images of internal body structures, adhering strictly to established protocols.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques to accurately interpret imaging results.
- Ensure strict aseptic technique during procedures to prevent infection and maintain a sterile environment.
- Maintain detailed records of all imaging procedures, patient data, and equipment logs in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Regularly monitor equipment functionality, perform routine quality checks, and troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating MRI scanners.
