Poly Excel, LLC has an immediate opening for a Night Shift Machinery Technician. The successful candidate will work 12-hour shifts [4 on 3 off / 3 on 4 off] rotation. This guarantees 3 or 4 consecutive days off per week with a guaranteed 8 hours of overtime every 2 week pay period (76 Regular Hours 8 Overtime Hours). There are typically other overtime opportunities as well. This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and a “Do it right the first time” way of thinking.
Duties
● Troubleshoot and provide corrective action to malfunctioning machinery
● Perform routine maintenance on various types of industrial equipment
● Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals
● Communicate with operators and supervisors to ensure proper operation of machinery
Skills
● Strong knowledge of general mechanical skills such as pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical fastening.
● Excellent troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities
● Strong communication skills. Both verbal and written skills will be used as we utilize a comprehensive Computerized Maintenance Management System
● Ability to take directions and follow them
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Attention to detail is a must
