We are seeking a cook to feed and nurture our students with delicious and nutritious meals! We are looking for someone that is willing to help out in the classrooms as a Floater so Child Care Experience is a PLUS!
Kitchen Responsibilities:
- Cooking and serving meals and snacks
- Know individual allergies and dietary restrictions
- Planning monthly menus
- Ordering food for each week and keeping inventory
- Cleaning and organizing kitchen daily
- Checking CACFP (food program) meal counts in each classroom
- Understand state licensing regulations in the kitchen
- Build positive relationships with staff members and children
Experience in running a CACFP qualified kitchen is a plus!
Must pass background check with FSSA
Drug Screening Required
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or higher (willingness to achieve CDA)
- ServSafe Food Handler Certified, or willing to achieve once hired
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
