Operates County bus or vehicle to transport elderly and disabled riders throughout the County. This position also supports and promotes the Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles of the Human Services Department and performs in a manner consistent with the "HSD Professional Standards" and "Commitment to My Co-Workers."
75%- Provide door-to-door service for elderly and disabled passengers.

Operate routing software.

Transport individuals safely to and from appointments.

Accompany passengers safely to and from the bus and buildings.

Provide reasonable assistance to the passenger, e.g. offering an arm, pushing a wheelchair if needed.

Collect fares.

Promote a positive image of the ADRC by maintaining a courteous, professional, and respectful presence when interacting with the public.
20%- Vehicle Maintenance-
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles using checklist provided.

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean interior of vehicle and keep it clean and sanitary.

Keep vehicle filled with fuel.Communicate all vehicle issues or needs identified to supervisor.
