Join one of the largest and fastest-growing independent B2B agencies in the country. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team of account management, strategy, creative, media, and martech professionals, delivering work that makes a measurable impact for our clients. You will serve as a trusted strategic partner to clients ranging from Fortune 500 enterprises to high-growth challenger brands, guiding them across research and business strategy, brand-to-demand integration, digital experience, martech and data, and market activation.
The Account Director will specifically work on one of MX's clients where it is a full-funnel, brand-to-demand agency-of-record relationship with a fast growing company repositioning from a category-specific narrative into broader category leadership. The role is representative of the caliber of accounts our Account Directors run.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the strategic lead for clients, building trusted C-suite relationships and translating business objectives, market dynamics, and competitive insights into integrated brand-to-demand marketing strategies.
- Lead cross-functional teams across strategy, creative, media, martech, and data to design and deliver cohesive, full-funnel marketing programs—not disconnected channel tactics.
- Turn performance data into actionable insights that connect marketing efforts to pipeline quality, revenue impact, and business growth.
- Guide integrated campaign strategy and execution across paid, owned, earned, and ABM channels while ensuring strong measurement, attribution, and optimization.
- Own account strategy, operations, and client success, including stakeholder alignment, reporting, workflows, team accountability, and executive-level communication.
- Identify opportunities to expand client partnerships, drive account growth, and influence go-to-market strategies that help clients outperform competitors.
- Manage account teams and collaborate across agency disciplines to deliver exceptional client experiences and strategic outcomes.
- Represent MX with executive presence in client meetings, business reviews, and pitches.
What We're Looking For
- 8–10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including recent agency experience leading integrated brand-to-demand programs.
- Proven ability to design and drive full-funnel strategies that connect marketing activity to pipeline, revenue, and business outcomes.
- Experience with complex B2B technology categories (cybersecurity, SaaS, identity, or similar) and enterprise buying journeys preferred.
- Strong understanding of B2B martech, ABM, media, CRM/MAP, analytics, and attribution platforms; able to guide teams and translate data into strategy.
- Experience managing enterprise accounts and leading cross-functional teams across strategy, creative, media, and data.
- Strategic, consultative leader with a track record of proactive client guidance and executive-level influence.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage C-suite and senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field.
