The Quality Engineer is in charge of verifying that manufactured and associated components adhere to the quality standards of the company, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. This position aids manufacturing operations by overseeing product quality, analyzing defects, implementing corrective measures, and promoting continuous improvement in the production process.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standards is maintained.
- Develop, optimize, and sustain procedures and processes to support quality and environmental systems.
- Identify failure modes in product processes and improve efficiency.
- Act as the primary contact point for customer and quality issues and communications.
- Review drawings to confirm accurate utilization of product specifications.
- Maintain and monitor relevant Key Performance Indicators for product and supplier performance.
- Conduct internal audits to pinpoint corrective and preventive actions for ongoing enhancement.
- Update and create work instructions & documents.
- Lead investigations utilizing effective problem-solving techniques for quality, supplier, and internal problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support plant activities and objectives.
- Participate in the launch and validation processes for new and existing products.
- Identify, initiate, and join in continuous improvement projects as required.
- Analyze statistical data and produce necessary reports.
- Contribute to all initiatives and demands to ensure a secure and healthy work environment for all staff.
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering
- 2+ years of relevant quality experience
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in working with ISO 9001 or similar management systems
