We are seeking a dedicated Greenhouse Order Puller to join our team. Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick and prepare herb starts according to order specifications
- Use basic math skills to verify quantities and ensure accuracy of orders
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards of product presentation and condition
- Handle plant materials carefully, including lifting, pushing carts, bending, crouching, and standing throughout the workday
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support smooth operations
- Work promptly using your own method of transportation to meet daily deadlines
- Collaborate effectively with team members or work independently as needed
- Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure customer satisfaction and pride in work performed
Requirements
- Basic math skills for order verification and quantity calculations
- Experience or ability in order picking within a retail or greenhouse environment preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail for quality control purposes
- Ability to perform light-to-medium physical activity including walking, pushing carts, lifting plant materials, bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation for timely arrival at the workplace
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and pride in delivering quality work
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the horticultural field
