Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cabinetry Warehouse Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations within our cabinetry manufacturing facility. This role is essential in managing inventory, leading warehouse staff, and ensuring efficient workflow to meet production and delivery schedules. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be bilingual in English and Spanish, and have a solid understanding of warehouse management systems. This position requires a proactive approach to team management, inventory control, and effective communication with staff and management to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a positive team environment and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping of cabinetry products.
- Manage inventory levels accurately using warehouse management systems, conducting regular audits and cycle counts.
- Coordinate work schedules for warehouse staff, including bilingual communication to accommodate diverse team members.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding inventory status, staffing needs, and operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a culture of safety awareness among warehouse personnel.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide coaching or training as needed to improve team productivity.
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse management or leadership roles within a manufacturing or cabinetry environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish to facilitate clear instructions and team coordination.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of warehouse staff.
- Ability to plan work schedules effectively while maintaining flexibility for operational needs.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to warehousing and manufacturing environments.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing operational issues promptly.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
