Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Construction Estimator to join our team and drive the success of our upcoming projects. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project plans, and collaborating closely with project managers, contractors, and clients. Your expertise will help ensure projects are financially viable, competitive, and completed on time. Responsibilities
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop comprehensive construction estimates.
- Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare detailed cost proposals.
- Conduct site visits to gather accurate data on existing conditions and material requirements.
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to negotiate pricing and terms that align with project budgets.
- Prepare bid packages, analyze bids from subcontractors, and recommend the most competitive options.
- Monitor project costs throughout construction to ensure adherence to budgets through effective cost control strategies.
- Assist in contract negotiations and review contractual documents related to scope of work and pricing.
- Support project management teams by providing accurate estimates for planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and contractual terms.
- Extensive knowledge of construction estimating processes, including cost analysis and pricing strategies.
- Hands-on experience with construction site activities and understanding of construction management principles.
- Ability to interpret complex plans, specifications, and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
