Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, drywall, and painting.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining adherence to power tool safety standards
- Install doors, cabinets, moldings, trim, siding, and other building components with accuracy
- Use woodworking machines for cutting, shaping, and assembling wood construction materials in residential settings
- Work and coordinate with our subcontractors and team to complete a wide range of construction activities
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on carpentry or handyman work in residential or commercial environments
- Effective communication and working in a team environment is a must
- Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow directions and work independently on delegated tasks
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for woodworking and general construction tasks
- Knowledge of wood construction materials such as framing lumber, siding materials, drywall compounds, and finishing products
- Experience with fixture installation—including doors, cabinets, moldings, and trim
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours on-site; comfort working at heights or in confined spaces if required
- Commitment to safety protocols related to power tools and construction site hazards
