First Principles Research is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing clinical research team in Pembroke Pines, North Miami Beach, and Kendall, Florida.
The Registered Nurse will play an integral role in the successful execution of clinical trials by providing direct patient care, performing study-related procedures, and ensuring participant safety while maintaining compliance with study protocols, FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys working in a dynamic healthcare environment and is interested in contributing to the advancement of medical research.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical assessments and nursing evaluations for research participants.
- Administer investigational medications and study treatments as required by protocol.
- Collect blood samples, process specimens, and perform other study-related procedures.
- Monitor participants for adverse events and report findings promptly.
- Educate participants on study procedures, medications, and follow-up requirements.
- Maintain accurate source documentation and electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with Principal Investigators, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Research Coordinators, and sponsors to ensure successful study execution.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ICH-GCP guidelines, study protocols, and company SOPs.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
- Clinical research experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, and medication administration is preferred.
- Current BLS certification required (ACLS preferred).
- Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
