Archbishop Spalding High School, located in Severn, Maryland, is seeking qualified coaches. Our High School Coaches are responsible for overseeing the athletic programs. They will work with students of all ages and abilities to help them develop healthy habits, build teamwork skills, and improve their physical fitness. In addition to this they are also being tasked with developing practice schedules, planning out training regimens, and providing individualized instruction to athletes as they strive to reach their full potential.
Essential Functions
- Create and execute instructional practice plans.
- Execute strength and conditioning plans.
- Develop student-athlete competence and confidence.
- Enforce team policies, beliefs, philosophies in sportsmanship, integrity, accountability, and perseverance.
- Some administrative work: Managing and tracking rosters, tournament registrations, monitoring attendance, confirming transportation, inventory management, and web-site management.

- Excellent Communication skills.
- High School sports experience.
Pay Range: Paid via a stipend that could range between $500 - $4,000, per season, depending on type of coach and the specific need of that department.
