Role Description
This is a part-time call to enrich our loving, fun, and mission-minded congregation through authentic, Christ-centered worship. Responsibilities include overseeing set-up for and leading blended worship on Sundays in addition to selecting music, preparing and leading weekly rehearsals, and working with volunteers to oversee technology (sound, slides, livestream) -- averaging about 15 hours each week. Commitments include seasonal services and special events.
Qualifications
- A committed Christ-follower who will be part of the Hope family
- Experience leading others Vocally in an inviting manner
- Playing a primary instrument (Guitar, Keyboard, Piano, etc.)
- Proficiency in contemporary worship songs and hymns
- Commitment to creating inclusive and inspiring worship environments
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the pastor, church staff and volunteers to bring musical excellence
