Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional on-site service for commercial dishmachines. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining appliances and mechanical systems at customer locations. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical, plumbing, and electrical issues
- Service low-temp dishmachines, pumps, chemical lines, switches, timers, and related components
- Calibrate chemical dispensers and verify proper chemical usage
- Respond to service requests from restaurant customers
- Help keep customer equipment running properly and safely
- Confirm needed parts, equipment, and supplies before going to a job
- Document service work, installs, parts used, and customer notes
- Communicate clearly with customers and internal team members
- Support chemical delivery or setup when needed
- Maintain organized tools, parts, and service materials
- Follow company safety standards and customer site requirements
- Continue learning our machines, chemicals, and service process
- Assist with inventory tracking and equipment movement
- Perform other service-related duties as needed
- Install commercial dishmachines at customer locations
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, maintenance, restaurant equipment, or warewashing preferred
- Previous dishmachine, laundry, janitorial chemical, or commercial kitchen equipment experience is a plus
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and troubleshooting equipment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional flexible hours or on-call needs
- Own van or work vehicle preferred, but not required for the right candidate
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
