A nonprofit services organization in New York City is seeking a Case Coordinator to join their growing team in Manhattan. This hybrid role supports participants in a supervised release and pretrial services program through engagement, court compliance, assessments, service planning, and connection to community resources.
About the Opportunity:
Shift: Day
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 9am to 5pm (at least 4 days a week onsite)
Setting: Hybrid (at least 4 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
Manage an average caseload of approximately 40 to 50 participants
Conduct participant engagement and maintain monthly contact requirements for assigned cases
Support court compliance, supervision requirements, assessments, and service planning
Provide participant contact by phone and, when needed, in person
Connect participants to appropriate community resources and coordinate follow-up as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus 1 to 2 years of relevant Case Management and/or Human Services experience, or an Associate's Degree plus 3 years of relevant Human Services experience
Strong experience in Case Management
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with participants
Comfort working with adults in a justice-involved or supervised services setting
Desired Skills:
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Experience with justice-involved individuals
Experience in other case management environments that translates well to this role
Strong clinical case management understanding
