KT Caribbean Cuisine Cafe' is seeking a passionate and experienced indivisual to join our growing team. We specialize in bold Caribbean flavors and are looking for someone who has exceptional leadership qualities, takes pride in quality, consistency, and creativity in the kitchen. This role is ideal for a motivated, experience indivisual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to contribute to an authentic island-inspired menu.
Responsibilities :Kitchen Roles
- Cook all dishes in accordance with established recipes and safety standards.
- Follow recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Plans prep and production
- Trains kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Ensure proper food safety and handling practices.
- Assist in menu development and suggest creative ideas for specials.
- Weekly inventory management.
- Manage food costs to hit monthly budget targets and eliminate food waste.
- Ensures health department compliance
- Handles kitchen problems and customer food issues
- Makes sure food is ready for service
Qualification:
- Passion for Caribbean food and culture.
- Passion for top notch customer service
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work on Saturdays, some Sundays and holidays.
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Strong leadership skills and a "team-first" attitude.
