Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Preschool Assistant Director to join our vibrant faith-based early childhood education community. Duties
- Assist in developing and implementing curriculum plans that promote childhood development, social-emotional growth, and early learning standards aligned with best practices.
- Support faculty in professional development initiatives, including training sessions on instructional strategies, classroom management, and compliance with early childhood regulations.
- Collaborate with Preschool Director to oversee school operations, including enrollment management and admissions, staff supervision, and maintaining educational quality standards.
- Contribute to strategic planning efforts aimed at school growth, community engagement, and fundraising initiatives to support program sustainability.
- Coordinate social media team of staff members and ensure active engagement on Facebook and Instagram
- Manage budgets related to educational programs and school operations while ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.
- Supervise school staff by providing mentorship and facilitating team leadership to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements pertaining to early childhood education, special education law, health and safety regulations, and accreditation standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in school administrative leadership within a preschool or K-12 setting; prior school experience is essential.
- Strong background in curriculum development, instructional leadership in early childhood education, and classroom experience with young children.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing budgets as an executive education administrator along with strategic planning skills.
- Knowledge of educational compliance laws including special education law and childhood development regulations.
- Experience supervising school staff and facilitating professional development programs tailored for educators.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking, team collaboration, and community engagement.
- Familiarity with school legal frameworks, personnel management in education settings, and managing educational programs within regulatory standards.
