Best Option Restoration is the fast-growing water damage restoration company serving the greater Salt Lake City area. We average one water damage job per week and we need a sharp, organized admin who can own the insurance side of every project — from first contact with adjusters to final payment. If you thrive on follow-through and love turning paperwork chaos into closed claims, this role was built for you.What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact with homeowners' insurance adjusters throughout each claim
- Prepare, submit, and track insurance estimates and supplemental claims (Xactimate familiarity a plus)
- Follow up persistently with adjusters to ensure timely claim approvals and payments
- Review insurance scopes of work and identify missing line items or underpaid amounts
- Coordinate with field technicians to document job-site conditions, photos, and moisture logs
- Maintain organized digital files for each job — estimates, correspondence, signed contracts, COCs
- Communicate claim status updates to homeowners throughout the process
- Assist with invoicing and track outstanding receivables until accounts are paid in full
- Support general office administration as needed (scheduling, calls, emails)
Requirements
- 2+ years of administrative or office experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Highly organized with excellent follow-up habits
- Comfortable reading insurance documents and estimates
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Self-starter who can manage multiple open jobs
- Ability to work on-site in Salt Lake City
Bonus Points
- Experience in restoration, construction, or insurance
- Xactimate or insurance estimate software a must!
- Prior work with insurance adjusters or TPAs
- Knowledge of property insurance claims process
- Experience with a job management platform (Dash, JobNimbus, etc.)
