In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential HVAC systems, completing repairs correctly on the first visit whenever possible
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable system operation
- Clearly explaining findings, repair options, and preventive maintenance recommendations to homeowners
- Responding promptly to dispatched service calls and manage daily work orders efficiently
- Maintaining organized service vehicle inventory, tools, and parts to support timely repairs
- Accurately documenting work performed, parts used, and service details in company systems (ServiceTitan experience a plus)
- Following all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
- Communicating effectively with dispatch, managers, and team members to support smooth operations
- Maintaining a professional appearance, strong work ethic, and consistent attendance
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Prior heating and/or cooling experience in a residential capacity preferred
- Service Titan experience preferred
- Experience upselling additional services as well as selling replacement options when applicable.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate with customers.
- Demonstrated excellent communication conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member and pitch in as needed.
- Computer skills and use of electronic devices for scheduling, invoice creation and communication to staff and customers required.
- Must be able to work on a ladder.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
