Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $16.50 - $16.50 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Bottle And Can Sorter:
- Scan residential-size bags filled with recyclable bottles
- Open each bag and empty the contents onto a conveyor system for sorting
- Maintain a steady workflow by scanning, opening, emptying, and moving to the next bag
- Pick up bottle caps and other materials that may fall onto the floor
- Properly dispose of empty trash bags
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift
Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening)
Job requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- Comfortable lifting lightweight items of approximately 5 pounds throughout the shift
- Willing to participate in a brief team stretch at the beginning of each shift
- Able to stand and remain active for the duration of an 8-hour shift
