Key Responsibilities
· Help oversee day-to-day front-of-house operations and support smooth service during assigned shifts.
· Lead by example in guest service, professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail.
· Open and/or close the restaurant according to established procedures.
· Serve guests promptly and courteously, take accurate food and beverage orders, and ensure an excellent dining experience.
· Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with house standards and applicable laws.
· Monitor guest satisfaction, respond to concerns professionally, and help resolve service issues quickly.
· Support staff coordination, shift communication, and on-the-floor problem solving when management coverage is needed.
· Handle cash, credit card transactions, and end-of-shift reconciliation accurately.
· Maintain cleanliness, organization, stocking, and sanitation standards in dining and bar areas.
· Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and workplace safety procedures.
Qualifications
· Previous experience in the restaurant industry is required.
· Prior experience in a leadership, shift lead, assistant manager, or restaurant manager capacity is strongly preferred.
· Serving and/or bartending experience required.
· Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
· Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
· Basic cash handling and point-of-sale system experience preferred.
· Must meet legal age requirements and any applicable certifications for alcohol service.
Schedule and Work Environment
Each aspect of this combination employment opportunity is a part-time position, but all together can equate to a full time opportunity with hourly wages and tips. The schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts based on business needs. Candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods, lifting light to moderate supplies, and moving quickly between service, bar, and floor management responsibilities.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is competitive and will be based on experience. Additional earnings may include tips where applicable. Benefits and perks may include flexible scheduling, employee discounts, training opportunities, and growth potential within the team.
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
