Job Summary – Dishwasher
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and other food service items. This position ensures that all kitchen areas remain clean, sanitary, and safe for food preparation. The Dishwasher works closely with the kitchen team to support efficient operations and maintain a positive, team-oriented environment. We just need weekend nights 10am-5pm however if you are open to work other times as well as weekends the other shifts are 8am-2pm and 4pm-9pm
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and cooking equipment according to health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, kitchen floors, and waste disposal areas.
- Restock clean dishes and equipment to proper storage areas.
- Assist with basic food prep or kitchen tasks as needed.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
