Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry Level Front Office Coordinator to join our dynamic healthcare team. This vital role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience while supporting the administrative operations of the clinic. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service at the front desk
- Manage phone systems, answer inquiries, and direct calls efficiently using professional phone etiquette
- Verify patient insurance coverage
- Process Authorization for services requests
- Schedule appointments accurately utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Review and organize medical records, documentation, and care plans while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA confidentiality policies
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining medical records in electronic health records (EHR) management systems
- Support clinical staff by coordinating patient intake processes, managing appointment flow, and ensuring timely communication
- Support RBT staff with breaks and transitions
- Clean and sanitize toys, rooms, and common areas
- Track and order supplies
- Further understanding of ABA principles is required via on line course training
Experience
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Demonstrated ability to handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing phone systems with professionalism
- Knowledge of clinical confidentiality policies and health information management practices is essential
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient service and communication in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a team player and willing to support any clinical staff
- Must work well with children
- Must pass background check
