At JW Hicks, we are always looking for talented individuals to join our growing team in Knox, Indiana. Currently we are looking to add Production Workers to 1st Shift. We have a passion to produce the best refractory products on the market and are seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and heart for "Doing it Right."
Production Worker (Laborer) Job Responsibilities:

Operate mixers and add minor ingredients to prepare mixes for casting/pressing

Cast, press or finish product

Operate ovens and kilns to dry and fire product

Maintain raw material and product identification and record data into ERP system

Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and work in progress
Production Worker Qualifications

Good "hands on" skills with reasonable mechanical aptitude

Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout shift

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

High school diploma or equivalent required

Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical and drug screen prior to employment
