Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality urgent care services in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute illnesses and minor injuries while delivering exceptional patient care and customer service. This position would be primarly in Alexandria with flexability to go to St. Joseph is preferred.
Qualifications
•Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute medical concerns.
•Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
•Perform common urgent care procedures within scope of practice.
•Prescribe medications and provide treatment recommendations.
•Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
•Complete accurate and timely medical documentation.
Responsibilities
•Licensed Nurse Practitioner in good standing.
•Prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, family practice, or primary care preferred.
•Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
•Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills.
•Rotating on-call weekends.
