Job Summary
Euro Motorcars Devon Mercedes-Benz is looking for an automotive service professional with a progressive mindset to lead our growing service operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Service Management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Reports to: General Manager
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the entire service team, including service advisors, BDC personnel, technicians, and all other support staff within the service department.
- Oversee and optimize daily service department operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and advisor performance.
- Coach service advisors on customer communication, relationship management, and best practices to improve retention and satisfaction.
- Monitor key performance indicators including labor sales, gross profit, effective labor rate, productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction metrics to ensure departmental objectives are achieved.
- Monitor customer receivables, warranty administration, and compliance with all manufacturer standards and regulations.
- Maintain accountability for departmental performance, processes, and the successful execution of daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.
- A strong leader understands that managing personnel extends beyond daily operations. This includes holding team members accountable, fostering a positive and productive culture, supporting individual career growth, actively listening to employees, and addressing performance concerns promptly while making difficult personnel decisions when necessary to maintain a high-performing team.
- An exceptional Service Manager is actively engaged with customers—present in the service drive, viewing the experience through the customer’s eyes, and continuously guiding the team to elevate performance and deliver a seamless, top-tier experience at every touchpoint.
- The ideal candidate will also work in partnership with the Parts Manager to drive departmental performance, enhance operational efficiencies, and support sustained business growth.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience in automotive service management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Verifiable references for leadership skills.
- Excellent driving record and valid Driver’s License.
- Professional appearance.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass pre-employment driving, background and drug screening.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
