Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Run errands and grocery shopping as assigned
- Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Observe and report changes in a client’s condition to the office
- Maintain accurate visit documentation
- Follow each client’s individualized care plan
- Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism
Qualifications
- Compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous caregiving, STNA, HHA, DSP, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (training opportunities may be available)
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
