Enviromatic Fire Prevention Team
Enviromatic is hiring Kitchen Exhaust System Cleaners* to join our Fire Prevention Team. This overnight position* is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, travel opportunities, and working as part of a team. No prior experience is required—we provide training for motivated candidates.
This role plays an important part in preventing commercial kitchen fires by removing grease buildup from restaurant ventilation systems.
Compensation & Benefits: Entry level Techs will start at $19.00/Hr. base pay PLUS easily earned weekly performance bonuses.+ With the opportunity to excel to $25.75 and become a regional manager.

Schedule
- Overnight shifts
- Travel to various job sites

Responsibilities
- Clean commercial kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, ducts, fans, and ventilation equipment
- Operate pressure washing equipment and cleaning tools
- Manually remove grease buildup from kitchen exhaust systems
- Drive company vans to and from job sites
- Set up and break down equipment at each location
- Ensure work areas are clean and restored after service
- Dispose of grease, wastewater, and chemicals according to company procedures
- Follow all safety procedures and use protective equipment
- Complete proper prep work before cleaning (setup, protection of surrounding areas)
- Ensure thorough cleanup after service, including kitchens and equipment
- Assist with pressure washing equipment and pumps
- Monitor water and operate wet vacuums
- Support Crew Chief with daily job tasks
- Follow safety and fire prevention standards
- Report safety hazards or equipment issues
- Communicate clearly if any issues arise
Physical Requirements
This is a physically active position. Candidates must be able to:
- Lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- Work on ladders, rooftops, and elevated surfaces
- Bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Work in hot, greasy, or confined kitchen environments
- Use pressure washing equipment for extended periods
Qualifications
- Ability to work overnight shifts
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to travel to job sites
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be willing to undergo a background check
