Duties
- Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, schedules, service delivery, and staff supervision
- Lead, motivate , and hold team members accountable to deliver outstanding guest experiences while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food and beverage costs to optimize profitability
- Supervise shift management, ensuring smooth transitions between teams and efficient workflow during busy hours
- Train, develop, and evaluate staff through ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and training programs
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS system, ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling procedures and sanitation standards
Experience
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision within casual or fine dining environments
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, interviewing, and development
- Knowledge of inventory control practices, budgeting, and food safety regulations in the hospitality industry
- Experience managing shift operations in a high-volume restaurant setting; fine dining or banquet experience is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally and efficiently
