Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries or concerns.
- Process customer transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to provide accurate information to customers.
- Assist in restocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure a clean and inviting store environment.
- Address customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a resolution that meets their needs.
- Utilize retail math skills for accurate pricing, discounts, and inventory managemen
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is an advantage.
