We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our production team! Job Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately build components.
- Mig weld parts in a fixture in a timely manner with the end result being a quality product.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times during fabrication and welding processes.
- Use power tools to cut and grind metal.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment.
- Additional possible duties- Using a drill press for hole drilling, using a press brake to form sheet metal parts, cutting tubes to length in a band saw, using a CNC mill to perform operations on parts, shearing and punching holes in an iron worker.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience as a welder/fabricator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in MIG welding.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Have a great attitude while performing work at a steady pace.
- Must have reliable transportation and a willingness to be on time every day.
- Must have the skills to read a tape measure with precision.
- Have the ability to repair small broken metal components on items such as trailers and lawn mowers.
- Be a team player and work with others to accomplish the task at hand.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in a standing position for long periods.
