We are seeking an experienced, faith-driven Childcare Center Director to lead our thriving Christian childcare center in Jarrell, Texas. As a Texas Rising Star (TRS) accredited program, we are committed to providing exceptional early childhood education in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.
The ideal candidate is a strong, organized leader who is passionate about serving children, families, and staff while maintaining the highest standards of excellence, professionalism, and Christian values. Someone who isn’t afraid of getting in the classroom to help when needed and who is able to balance a strong classroom presence while managing administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
● Provide daily leadership and oversight of a childcare center serving approximately 150 children and supervising a team of 20-30 employees.
● Maintain compliance with all Texas Child Care Licensing regulations and Texas Rising Star (TRS) standards.
● Maintain accurate and organized student and staff files.
● Handle parent and staff concerns with professionalism, compassion, and effective conflict resolution.
● Maintain open, timely communication with company administrators.
● Collect, process, and accurately log tuition payments.
● Ensure the center operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all policies and procedures.
● Support, mentor, and develop teaching staff through coaching and accountability.
● Build positive relationships with children, families, and employees while fostering a welcoming, Christ-centered culture.
● Assist with enrollment, staffing, scheduling, and other operational duties as needed.
Qualifications
● Previous leadership or management experience in a licensed childcare center is preferred.
● Working knowledge of Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards.
● Experience with Texas Rising Star (TRS) accreditation is strongly preferred.
● Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
● Must demonstrate strong Christian values and serve as a positive role model for children, families, and staff.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
