Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage food service customer orders from takeout to dine-in, providing friendly and attentive service throughout the transaction.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food handling stations in compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with accuracy.
- Support food safety management practices by adhering to sanitation protocols, proper food handling procedures, and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods while maintaining quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a food industry environment.
- Prior retail or grocery store experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
