Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational therapists (OT) or Occupational Therapists assistants to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life. Whether working in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments, you will be instrumental in guiding patients through recovery and promoting optimal physical function. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine physical limitations and develop customized care plans.
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and community care strategies.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly to maximize recovery outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless transition between inpatient, outpatient, or home health services.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention, and self-care practices to support long-term health goals.
- Provide specialized care for diverse populations including acute care patients, geriatrics, pediatrics, and those requiring home or community-based therapy.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess and treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient documentation.
- Experience with inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, home health environments, and community care programs.
- Skilled in discharge planning and creating effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Expertise in physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics-focused treatments.
