As a Client Service Representative at Bayshore Veterinary Hospital, you are more than the first point of contact; you are the voice and heart of our practice. Your ability to listen with empathy, communicate clearly, and respond with compassion is essential to the care we provide. Many clients are experiencing stress or uncertainty, and your emotional intelligence and active listening help ensure they feel supported and understood.
We are seeking someone who values human connection as much as efficiency. Experience in a fast paced veterinary or medical environment is preferred, but strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to client care are just as important.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Answering phones promptly with a warm, professional, and empathetic demeanor
Actively listening to client concerns and supporting the medical team with accurate information
Scheduling appointments based on medical urgency and client needs
Greeting and escorting clients and patients with compassion and professionalism
Processing payments including cash, credit cards, checks, and CareCredit
Maintaining calm, respectful communication during emotionally charged situations
Skills and Competencies include, but are not limited to:
Strong emotional intelligence and active listening skills
Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Desire to learn, accept feedback, and grow within the role
Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization
Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
